Ooh, La La!

Well it's me again, giddy with the thought of one of my stories being translated into French. This is my novellette, Forever Yours (Spice)in an anthology with some really great authors, for the French market. I like it, especially the title. Goes well with my novella, which is about a Duke and his Duchess and the sexy letters they send to each other! Fun stuff! It's really neat to me, to think that someone could be sitting in a little cafe reading my stories!

Sorry I've not much to report, or any insightful posts. I've got my head buried deep in Velvet Haven revisions. They're coming along nicely, and hopefully I'll be done them and have the book sent to my editor by Friday afternoon. Then, I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing all weekend long. I haven't done much reading for pleasure this summer, and I'm feeling the withdrawl effects. I can't wait to dive in. Only trouble is, I can't choose what to read first from all the great books waiting for me in my TBR pile!!!

As well, Adrienne from the UK has posted on the blog about Sinful, and about how she lives quite near to the village that inspired Matthew's estate locale. She also mentioned how she might think of visiting Stourhead (the garden that is Matthew's garden) to coincide with the release of Sinful. What do we think, shall we rip her eyes out now for having the luxury of being so close to beauty! lol! I suppose we can't. It wouldn't be at all lady like, would it?! I suppose all we can do is prevail upon her to post photos for us, if she does make the trek! We can visit vicariously through her, and imagine what Jane sees when she first arrives at Wallingford's estate.

I do envy her. I wish I was rich, I'd fly all of us over, meet up with Adrienne and we could go to Evesham and follow the blossom trail and read Sinful. Or we could picnic at Stourhead and lay out on a blanket! Ah....it's good to dream!!!

I really need to get back to England. There's so much I haven't seen. I need more research!

Have a wonderful weekened, and thank you all for your continued support and for everyone who has written to me, telling me of their love for Addicted's Lindsay's, and Matthew! I do appreciate you all. And to everyone who has posted reviews, thoughts, and cover art, my humblest thanks for getting the word out!

Ack! I'm so jealous of Adrianne!!! *sigh* I wish that you were rich too Charlotte. I could use a vacation to England. ;)

So, the dreaded TBR pile has got you scared, huh? I recommend 'Angels' Blood'. I'm freakin' STILL obsessed with that book. Seriously.

*sigh* I can totally picture Matthew walking along that path surrounded by Mother Nature's beauty. Is it okay that I picture him shirtless like his book cover?? And maybe with his breaches a tiny bit tighter so I can get more butt action?? I know, I'm a shameless hussy.

Oh, and I'm so lovin' the cover and title for your French release. To have your novella translated into the most romantic language of the world is fantastic. And I can totally see a fabulous French woman decked out in cutting edge fashion, reading your book while she delicately sips her drink of choice. Very cool.

Have a great weekend, Charlotte!

(((hugs))) VFG

VFG, you image him any old way you want. My lingering image is of him sprawled out in a chair with black britches and glossy boots with no shirt, and the top button of the britches open to allow an illusive glimpse of that fantastic happy trail of his....

LOVE that scene. Takes place in his little cottage studio btw!

And I've got Angels blogg pulled out. It's calling me to me....

And I've got a little idea cooking up in my brain for England....it's perking....I'll let you know!!1

Happy weekend!

BTW, did I tell you that on my way back from St. Louis we hit a lot of turbulance on the plane. Luckily for me, I brought my e-reader and had "Tutoring Lady Jane" to keep my mind occupied. I loved the beginning of the story, btw. HOT!

You are more than welcome here, Cecile, and if I were rich, you'd definitely be hopping aboard that plane! lol!

England is gorgeous, and I'm salivating to get back there!

We can dream and hope. And I wouldn't mind getting down to your neck of the woods, too. I've always wanted to go to New Orleans, and Savannah and Charleston.

Oh, I'm all for England. I went when I was 15 and unappreciative. lol! Actually, I was only in London. I'd love to tour the english countryside. Sigh.....

Oooo the South. I'm dying to go to Savannnah. 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' is one of my favorite movies. Ever since I saw that movie, I've been waiting for my dream to be realized.

The farthest south I've ever been is Texas. Which I love. I'd move to Austin if I was forced to leave San Diego. I've family there too. Plus, the people are just super nice.

Hi Charlotte , ladies. Photos of "Sinfuls" release Day celebrations duly noted:)

I daren't think too long about Wallingford or I'll need a cold shower. Breeches, no shirt......I think it was the pictures of Richard whats his name that did it. Plus he looks extra yummy in the new series of Robinhood...dark and brooding!

Charlotte I love the cover of "Forever Yours" , a sensuous cover for a sensuous book...one of my all time favourites:)

OH Savanagh will do me for a trip, just to see all the lovely houses in the historic district.

Have a great weekend Charlotte.
