Frisky Friday Giveaway

OMG, March is soooo roaring in like a lion around my parts. ANOTHER snow storm blew in last night, and is still whirling around! I'm SO sick of winter, and it doesn't help that I'm writing Pride and Passion which is set in November, and there's a blizzard going on. Fine and dandy when you're lying in bed with the Duke of Sussex, but in reality...nah, I'm sick of it.

So, let's get our spring on......March 25th, The Pleasure Garden releases, and if that isn't a cover that says spring, I don't know what is!
So, I'm giving away two copies. All you have to do is tell me what your ideal pleasure garden would be. I'll randomly pick the answers on Monday morning!
So, put on your thinking caps, and think SPRING...hell, think this man in spring!!!!!!
If you want to know about The Pleasure Garden go Here
Good luck, and be well!

I too am sick of winter. If I see any more snow I am likely to start screaming! LOL
My ideal pleasure garden would be someplace tropical and warm, perhaps on an island. It would be inhabited by delicious man candy and of course would have an endless supply of great books, because you couldn't have paradise without them!

June, I hear ya! A pleasure garden must have man candy and books--and chocolate!

I'm also so over winter...though we haven't had it as bad as everyone on the east coast (thank goodness).

My pleasure garden would be a feast for the eyes as well as the rest of the senses. Fragrant flowers, bright full moon, lanterns hanging from trees, butterflies (love them), night sounds (like crickets...love them as a group, but get just one and it is annoying :) and of course grass that is velvety soft, and let us not forget the man candy...lots of that would be good too :)

Can't wait for this book!

I cannot wait for the warmer weather. Winter can get so depressing at times.

My ideal pleasure garden...hmmm...

Well, it would be a place that is exotic and relaxing especially at night. Behind my dream house would be lush garden fragrant with the scent of lavender and roses. I would follow a path to a small white painted wooden bridge that would hover over a tiny stream leading to a gazebo dressed in rose vines.

Inside latterns painted with butterflies would illuminate a swinging bench with soft cushions. A warm summer breeze would be swaying the branches of the weeping willows surrounding my little cove. The sky would always be clear, tiny stars twinkling in the distance as I listen to the sounds of crickets chirping. I would go there every night to read and sip my coffee (perhaps even nap, lol) without a care in the world. Sigh...

Oh, you could toss in a hottie like David Beckham who could message my feet as I read as well. Just saying. I mean, this is MY pleasure garden, right ;)

I woke up to a snow storm too. Well that's Ontario for you!
I just read Garden Spells Sarah Addison Allen which had an amazing garden so I've been in a garden mood ever since.
For me my pleasure garden would be a warm temp, sun in ths sky but a shade tree nearby, birds singing in the distance, a super comfy chaise lounge, my kindle all stocked up with books and no kids, no husband, no phone, no neighbours, no barking dogs oh and why not put me in the Scottish Highlands while were at it. NICE!

The weather has been pretty crazy and scary of late!

I won't be enterting this contest as I was already lucky to have read it already and loved it, but my ideal pleasure garden is the one I'm blessed with now, with butterfly dancing between each flower, my cats lazing around with my new pup and sunshine...now all I need is some highlander man candy and it be purrfect

My pleasure would be timeless and always perfectly in bloom with tons of beautiful flowers, trees, and a swing! Plus a bench to sit on and read!

My perfect pleasure garden would be a woodland lanscape. It would have lots of fragrant flowers and animals abound. A stream with tiny fish would flow through my garden. There would be lots of beautiful music coming from the many birds bathing in their birdbaths, eating at the numerous feeders and caring for their babies in their houses. I am sitting on my comfy bench reading a great novel while the butterflies and dragonflies drift by. Out of the leafy greenery emerges a beautiful dark stallion with an even more handsome rider.. ahhh..

It's storming here too! And I CANNOT WAIT FOR SPRING!!
My ideal pleasure garden is a place that is lush with lots of maple, and cedar trees ( I love the smell of cedar), wild flowers, and a cool stream running through it. The sound of running water is just so tranquil and gives me so much peace.
The garden would be somewhere secluded so only myself and my lover would know how to get there and what went on. It would be a place where we could drop our defenses, be ourselves and not have the worries or the cares of the world to interrupt of inhibit us.

My ideal pleasure garden would be my dream backyard. A gorgeous dark bottom pool, hot tub, lush landscaping, an outdoor kitchen and fabulously comfy patio furniture. Sigh.... Oh to have disposable income.....

And can I just say that I can't stop the drool when I look at this cover! So HAWT!

A garden of pleasure would provide satiation for all of the senses. Sweet fruit and savory vegetables to please the palate. Flowers of simple appeal and also of exquisite, delicate, beauty with fragrances both soft and sensual. A water fountain whose gentle sprays of water are a soothing sonata. Lovely trees of swaying willows and benches for shade and also for sun. The trilling of songbirds to serenade the soul. A lovely little tea cart brimming with tempting treats, liquid libations, and a row of risque romantic reads. Most important of all is the man who tends the garden, tends my soul, and tends to all my needs. He is the essential, elemental pleasure of the garden.

I'm tired of all the snow and rain.
My pleasure garden would be somewhere warm with a nice light breeze, the smell of flowers around with a bunch of men tending to my every need :D

I'm working on my pleasure garden right now and hope to have it finished within a year. What I have so far is a GIANT (20 by 20 by 20) Lady Banks rose bush in one corner. I've trimmed away a grotto of sorts because I'm going to place a bench nestled inside the rose bush. I've had trouble finding just the right bench, but will be hunting over the next few weeks.

In addition, I've ordered three Vytex trees. I love the combination of yellow blooms with purple blooms so I think the two will be stunning together in my back yard.

My garden is my ideal pleasure garden because of it's sense of simplicity. I love an uncomplicated garden with my flowers randomly placed with fresh herbs mixed in. I love to cook with the herbs and have my flowers on the table and in the front hall to "welcome guests" to our home.

Our friends are always surprised by how much they enjoy sitting out on the patio off our back door and looking at the garden. They say it looks like it grew by itself wiht its simple but fanciful design.

My ideal pleasure garden would have lots of sunshine, exotic flowers, and hot eye candy waiting to surprise me at every hidden spot within the garden. Each of them would hold one of my favorite Charlotte Featherstone books in one hand, and a chocolate dipped strawberry in the other:)

So winter hasn't exactly hit here so I can only empathize with everyone who had to deal with snow, it only cools down a bit here to where you need to wear a light sweater.

My pleasure garden...hmmm...I've read waay to many romance novels to be able to pick one and stick with it. But to imagine myself, I would put myself in an a field somewhere in England, the grass tall, but not too tall. It would be around dusk, where the suns still out but not hot at all. There would be the family house in the back, two stories, made of brick. I've had to walk a way to lie in the field but it was worth it. I lay there in the field, listening to day come to an end for all life...crickets singing their love songs, off somewhere a bird chirps. I close my eyes, and there his is a man, but not just any man, a man who is well built, roughish looking, dressed in the finest riding clothes, the type who loves horses and doesn't mind tending to his own estates. He's there standing over me, reaching out his hand, with that look on his face as if he's just found gold in the middle of nowhere. He picks me up, and suddenly we are dancing, no words needing to be spoken. I can feel the heat of his breath on my face, he smells so sweet, as I look up he bends his head, I close my eyes waiting for the soft feel of his lips....
